Home Made Gochujang Paste ( Korean Hot Pepper Paste )
270 ml water
250 gms sugar cane / brown sugar
300 gms miso paste
100 gms chilli powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon rice vinegar
1. Pur water into sauce pan, add sugar and heat until sugar dissolved.
2. Add in miso paste, keep stirring using wooden spoon until smooth.
3.Then add in chilli powder and mix well untill all combined. Switch off the fire and let it cool down for a few minutes.
4. Add in salt and vinegar, mix well and let it cool before put them in a bottle.
